How To Recover Old Facebook Account On Mobile
If you’ve ever changed your Facebook name, Facebook still has your old account. To get it back scroll to the bottom of Facebook and click on ‘help’. Clicking there will bring up a menu with an option that says ‘account settings’ in blue text. In this section, under address information, at the very bottom is a link called “change my display name”“. This takes you to another page where you can change your Facebook username. After typing in the new username (this cannot be used for any other Facebook accounts), type in the password again and hit enter button or send key if using the mobile app. The screen should say “You’re all set!” and return to the previous window – now with your new account listed as well! Your Facebook username is now the Facebook name you always wanted.
To recover your old Facebook account, click the ellipses icon in the top-right corner of your profile and select “Report”. After you want to report or close this account, select “Recover this account”.
To get your Facebook account back, upload a JPEG (photo) of your ID and enter an email address or mobile phone number.
